The pre-invitation card announces the date and location of the wedding and lets guests know in advance that they will be invited to the ceremony. When to send out the save the date?
Ideally four to six months before the wedding date. However, if you’ve opted for a destination wedding, aim for eight months ahead of time as travel arrangements will need to be made and this will increase the chances of guests attending the celebration.
