The USA has been in partial lockdown since March 16, 2020 to stop the spread of coronavirus. In some areas of the US there are signs that the rules will be relaxed with some restrictions. Some of the restrictions will be obvious, such as, no shaking hands, wash your hands and keep the social distancing. We have put together a list of products needed and things to do as we begin to ease the lockdown. These will help you be better prepared when your area is opened up.
1.) You Need To Have a Mask – Essential Item
Most areas already recommend wearing a mask when you are in public including grocery stores, public transportation and ride-shares. The purpose of all of us wearing face coverings or surgical masks anywhere people congregate is first and foremost to protect others if we sneeze or cough. These coverings will stop much of the large droplets that could otherwise reach people as far away as 18 feet away.
SubZero Mask has a number of fun mask styles. In addition, for every Subzero mask purchased, a mask will be donated to an at risk individual in need of a mask. You also purchase disposable masks, they work but are far less fun.
2.) Hand Sanitizer – Essential Item
According to the CDC, if soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol and wash with soap and water as soon as you can. Fight the spread of harmful bacteria and keep yourself and your loved ones safe with Remedi Pure at Healthy Hand Sanitizer.
Applied Biosciences, maker of Remedi Pure, has been creating online products and supplements for over 20 years and are now launching our professional-grade formula that follows the CDC recommendations and guidelines to minimize the spread of harmful germs by killing 99.9% of bacteria. It also contains Vitamin E to heal hands during each use.
Alcohol-based hand sanitizers can quickly reduce the number of microbes on hands in some situations, but sanitizers do not eliminate all types of germs.
3.) Create a Workout Plan and Strategy
A Hong Kong study was performed on 24,656 Chinese adults who died during this outbreak. This study showed that people who did no exercise at all or too much exercise – over five days of exercise per week – were at greatest risk of dying compared with people who exercised moderately.
According to ScienceAlert.com, here are some guidelines based on just the right amount – for most people.
- Do perform mild to moderate exercise (20-45 minutes), up to three times per week.
- Strive to maintain (not gain) strength or fitness during the quarantine period.
- Do avoid physical contact during exercise, such as playing team sports, that is likely to expose you to mucosal fluids or hand-to-face contact.
- Wash and disinfect equipment after use.
- If you use a gym, find one that is adequately ventilated and exercise away from others to avoid droplets.
Get A Stationary Bike if You Can’t Workout Outside
If you cannot get outside to workout. We recommend getting a stationary bike. Exercise biking are some of the most used exercise equipment both at public gyms and home gyms. In addition, new technology and cost effectiveness has made biking and “spinning” at home as effective as at a gym. Exercise bikes are an amazing investment for exercising at home. Bikes offer a wide range of daily exercises.

4.) Lose Weight for Better Health
Researchers looked at 3,615 patients admitted to their hospital from Mar 4 to Apr 4. The authors analyzed the body mass index (BMI) of the patients with confirmed COVID-19. A person with a BMI of 18 to 25 is considered normal weight, 25 to 30 is considered overweight, and over 30 is obese. Patients aged less than 60 years with a BMI from 30 to 34 were 2.0 times and 1.8 times more likely to be admitted to acute and critical care, respectively, the authors said, compared with individuals with a BMI under 30. For patients in the same age-group with a BMI over 35, the risk was 2.2 and 3.6 times higher, respectively.

Running an air purifier at home can be a good idea anytime, to help filter out indoor allergens and pollutants like fumes from cooking and cleaning products. And that’s especially true now, when so many people are stuck indoors 24/7 because of the coronavirus pandemic.
But you may also be wondering if an air purifier can prevent COVID-19 by capturing virus particles that could be traveling in the air. They can help when a person in the home is sick but no more than opening a window and airing out the room. If opening a window is not an option then the air purifier could do the trick.
