Sister-In-Law Mocks Mom’s Kids, But She Finally Got Her Revenge

She Had Enough

Debra’s blood was boiling as she clenched her fists into tight balls. How could she do this? And who did she think she was? She was older than Debra but she certainly wasn’t wiser.

Distressed, the mother questioned her family’s well-being. No one else seemed to notice what was going on.

Why did this woman have to be included in her family? She couldn’t stand another second in her company.

Her Sister-In-Law

Debra Stevens loved her three children more than anyone in the world. But she had a sister-in-law, Marie White-Stevens, who put her down and insulted her children every chance she got.

Marie always seemed to brag about her own children’s achievements while belittling Debra’s kids in the process.

This upset and angered Debra, but she had no idea what she was supposed to do about it.

It Got Worse

In the beginning, Debra tried to ignore it. She was well aware that Marie was only doing it to make herself feel better by putting everyone else down.

But as time passed, the insults only got worse. Debra couldn’t just sick back and take it anymore.

She had always been patient and kind. She hated conflict, but she couldn’t let Marie get away with it. She had always been close to Marie, but this changed after the insults started.

Little Comments

At first, Marie would make little comments here and there, but as time passed, these comments became more frequent and more hurtful.

Marie would often say things along the lines of, “Your kids are so lazy,” or “Why can’t they be more like mine?”

She was always bragging about her children’s achievements, telling Debra that they were doing things that were impossible for any child to accomplish.

More Lies

One day, while Marie was visiting Debra at home, she began bragging about her kids’ achievements.

“Little Johnny was rolling over at 2 months old,” Marie smirked, “and Kelly was already walking at six months.”

Debra knew by now that these were all lies, but she was tired of Marie always putting her down. She needed to put her in her place.

Her Plan

Once Marie had left, Debra took matters into her own hands. For the next few weeks, she collected a bunch of information about Marie and her children.

She kept track of every single achievement her kids made, even if they were small.

Debra was going to show Marie that her children were outstanding gifts from God.

The Perfect Plan

During this time, Debra came up with the perfect plan.

She came up with her own way of showing Marie just how amazing her children were.

She collected all of the amazing feats that her sister-in-law’s children had supposedly accomplished. This was going to be priceless.

The Presentation

Debra spent hours a day researching and compiling her presentation.

She included everything she could find, including the supposed “rolling over at 2 months” to the obvious lie that one of Marie’s children had spoken their first word at one week old.

Once the presentation was complete, Debra decided that it was time to confront Marie. She was so excited to see the look on Marie’s face.

It Was Time

She now had enough material to create her very own “White-Stevens book of world records.” She put it on a USB and showed it to Marie the next time she saw her.

Debra went over to her sister-in-law’s house, taking the USB with her. Once she got there, she gathered everyone around.

She made sure that they were all sitting around the TV with snacks and drinks. This was a movie that could not be missed.

The Slideshow

She stood in front of everyone with a golden trophy and said, “I have a special gift for a special friend, press play Robbie,” referring to her son.

Just then, a video with the chariots of fire music started playing over a slideshow of Marie’s children.

At first, Marie had a wide smile on her face, thinking that the video was about how amazing her children were. She tried to get her husband to focus as the video started playing.

Joke Of The Day

A few seconds into the video, there were video clips of silly things Marie’s children had done. “First ever walking 2-month-old” and world record for being the first month-old singing baby.

The smile dropped from Marie’s face. She finally clicked and realized what Debra was trying to do. She gave Debra a menacing look.

But Debra was too busy laughing with everybody to care. “What?” she said as she rolled her eyes at the furious Marie, “Your kids are the best!”

Don’t You Get It

Marie was embarrassed, and her husband Garth was laughing. He asked Marie why she lied and reminded her that they were family after all.

“I can’t believe that you’re so jealous Marie, don’t I give you everything?”

The ashamed mother looked away. “Why are you in competition with your own sister-in-law?” he said with a disgusted look on his face. She couldn’t answer him.

I Can’t Believe This

Marie was at first embarrassed, but then quickly became defensive.

She insisted that all of the things in the book were true and that Debra was just jealous of her children’s success.

Garth stepped in and asked his wife to give up her farce. “What kind of mother isn’t proud of her own children?” he said.

Liar Liar

Marie jumped up and pushed her husband aside, “Argh! You don’t know anything you big buffoon!” Garth was getting angry now, his wife was out of control.

Debra was taken aback by Marie’s reaction.

She had hoped that her sister-in-law would be able to see the humor in the situation and perhaps even apologize for her hurtful behavior.

Problem Maker

But Marie refused to back down. She continued to insist that her children were superior to Debra’s in every way and that there was nothing wrong with her bragging about their accomplishments.

Debra left Marie’s house feeling disappointed and frustrated. She knew that she couldn’t change her sister-in-law’s behavior, but she also couldn’t continue to let her live a lie.
