Single dad Dave Foster found it difficult when having his 12-year-old daughter, Karina, over.

A Tangled Mess

Karina looked down and seemed very embarrassed. “My hair’s a mess, Dad. I haven’t combed in a few weeks, and it’s a tangled mess. I don’t know what to do,” she said through tears.

Dave rushed over to his daughter to inspect her hair. She was right. Her hair was matted and smelled awful.

“When last did you wash your hair?” he asked.
