Sintió que le hervía la sangre cuando el encargado adoptó ese tono repugnante con su hijo.

No podía creer lo que le habían dicho a su hijo.

El camarero se marchó enfadado y Juana pensó que ya tenía una. Cinco minutos después, salió el encargado. Ella supuso que era para disculparse.

Pero echó un vistazo a la camisa del joven Callum y luego a Cindy.

Sin duda estaban puestos en su hijo.

No tenía ni idea de por qué parecía tener un problema con su hijo. Estaba a punto de abrir la boca para preguntarle cuál era el problema, pero él se le adelantó.

“Lo siento, hombrecito, pero me temo que esa camiseta no es apropiada aquí”, dijo el camarero sin perder un segundo.

Cindy didn’t need to hear any more abuse from people she didn’t even know.

She told Callum that they would find another, more accommodating place to eat.

She expected her rant to make the manager apologize. The prospect of a customer leaving a poor review should have changed his mind, but he was stubborn.

Cindy was glad that he was happy now, but she had to make sure that the restaurant paid.
