5 Don’t Forget to Rest

“Recovery is JUST as important as exercise. Restorative Yoga has changed my body and mind.”

4 Find What You Like

“Find a type of workout you LIKE not ones you ‘think’ are best. I am currently training for the Chicago Marathon and letting my inner competitor ‘fly’ out at Flywheel indoor cycling studio. There are MANY workouts out there… Keep trying until you find one that works!”

3 Try New Things

“The best part of a healthy lifestyle is learning to have fun again! One of my Favorite moments was when I got to live my Rock n’ Roll dream and sing with an amazing band! Probably one of the most nerve-wracking things I’ve done, yes even compared to working out with Jillian Michael’s, but it was the COOLEST experience yet!”

2 Eating Green!

“You can have UNLIMITED green veggies but they blend together well too! Try Green Juices to help clean and add vital nutrients to your diet. Try this tasty concoction: Cucumber, Kale, Spinach, Apple, Lemon, Lime, Mint… and the secret ingredient… Cactus”

1 Eat Clean!

“Removing as many processed foods from my meals has really helped my body stay clean. Get rid of those ‘white devils’ right off the bat: White Flour, White Sugar, White Rice, White Potatoes…. But still enjoy food!”
