The “core” members are Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, and Ally Sheedy, but there are also a bunch more. Basically any teen or young adult who was in a popular “coming of age” movie in the 80s.

Here are the top 5 best brat pack movies of all time:

5.) Pretty in Pink – 1986

Molly Ringwald plays Andie, hip and cool but poor. Who will win her affections? Her childhood sweetheart or the rich playboy? This movie also has the Dice Man himself, Andrew Dice Clay, although very briefly.

4.) Young Guns – 1988

A little bit later in the 80s, but gotta love Brat Pack actors in a good old-fashioned western featuring “Billy the Kid” played by Emilio. His brother Charlie Sheen was actually a good guy in this movie and Emilio was the bad one. Just shows their acting prowess I suppose…HA!

3.) St Elmo’s Fire – 1985

Self Centered Kids graduate college. Now what? I have to be an adult? Are you kidding me? Often considered the ultimate brat pack movie, it is definitely up there.

2.) Breakfast Club – 1985

5 high school students, 5 stereotypes, detention. That’s the gist. They end up bonding by pouring their hearts out to each other, and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought. The Breakfast Club has been a cult hit since its debut in 1985.

1.) The Outsiders – 1983

Greasers vs. Socs. Such a well done movie with drama, action and humor. Incredible cast of actors most of which went on to have huge careers. Who could forget their names? Pony Boy, Soda Pop and Two-Bit. “Thanks, Ponyboy, you dig okay.”.
