Tanisha Thomas: 5 Ways BGC Changed My Life

Tanisha Thomas has come a long way since her days on season 2 of the “Bad Girls Club.” Quickly becoming a fan favorite, Tanisha was one of the most outspoken girls in the house. Since then, she has become the host of popular Oxygen shows such as “Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too,” “Bad Girls Club” reunions and even had her own show “Tanisha Getting Married” which followed her as she prepared to walk down the aisle to then boyfriend, Clive. She has also been labeled as the “Bad Girls Club” godmother by most of the other seasons cast. Although she is still associated with the BGC brand, Tanisha says to have learned a lot from being on the show.

5 I See “Reality TV” Differently

“Since the BGC, I’ve done four disparate shows and a ton of guest appearances on others and I have to say I look at television now and it’s not the same. I can tell when things are really happening and when the producers step in to coach a scene.”

4 A Bit TOO Popular

“While I was always the popular kid, in middle school I was voted school president and everyone always knew Tanisha. I never imagined I would become this popular! I can no longer take a stroll down the street without crowds forming. I can barely go anywhere and not get noticed even overseas!! LOL it’s crazy.”

3 Trying to Make a Dollar Out of 15 Cents… and That I Did!

“I was always worried about my financial future, however becoming the face of Oxygen has allowed me to pull in a very nice and hearty income. Many speculate exactly what I’m worth but a true diva never tells! Just know I’m extremely comfortable.”

2 From Neighbor “Hood Star” to Social Media Queen!

“I’m popping off on social media and in a good way. My twitter account has over 250,000 followers, my Instagram is at 45k, and my Facebook combined 50k. The numbers are insane!!”

1 I Went from 15 Minutes to 6 Years of Reality TV!

“I started off in an ensemble cast and really didn’t know where I was going to go with it. It’s six years later and I’m hosting, executive producing and I’ve become the “face” of oxygen.”
