5 Liza Minnelli
With her decades on Broadway, endless television appearances and multiple movie roles, Liza Minnelli is an international superstar in her own right. Never mind that her mother—Judy Garland—was the legendary leading lady of the “The Wizard of Oz.” Minnelli’s dad is Vincente Minnelli, who was at the peak of his directing and acting career in the 1940s and 50s. This trio is the only celebrity family to have one special thing in common: Each possesses an Academy Award.
4 Liv Tyler
Landing commercials, magazine spreads, music video parts and starring roles in films like the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy wasn’t difficult for the porcelain-skinned Liv Tyler. Who was going to turn down the daughter of Aerosmith lead man Steven Tyler? Liv’s mother, Bebe Buell, also has created quite the name for herself as a former Ford model and Playboy Playmate. It’s quite obvious that Tyler was born to be a star.
3 Ben Stiller
Comedic actor Ben Stiller isn’t only really good looking—a la “Zoolander”—his silly antics keep fans across the globe rolling on the floor. Stiller is one of the few celebrities who was born funny—it’s embedded in his DNA. That’s because his father is Jerry Stiller and his mother is Anne Meara, who both have longstanding histories in Tinseltown as highly acclaimed comedians. Meara is best known for her appearances in the 1980s sitcom “Archie Bunker’s Place,” but she also had roles in “ALF,” “The King of Queens” and a self-titled show in the late ’80s. You most likely know Jerry Stiller as the rambunctious, always-angry father of George Costanza on “Seinfeld.” Clearly, Ben was born to amuse the world.
2 Kate Hudson
One of Hollywood’s biggest leading ladies, Kate Hudson has appeared on countless magazine covers and starred in blockbuster films. Her long blond locks, killer smile and slim physique come from her mother, actress Goldie Hawn. Her father, actor Bill Hudson, also helped her acting DNA. While he’s not an A-list actor, he did have recurring roles throughout the 1970s and 1980s in “Doogie Howser, M.D.,” “The Love Boat” and “Big Shots,” among others. Hudson is proof that when your parents are talented actors, you may well be, too.
1 Miley Cyrus
If you’ve ever put your hands up to “Party in the U.S.A.,” you’re surely familiar with Miley Cyrus. She started out as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel and went beyond her childhood acting days to make a household name for herself. Her rise to stardom was set up for her before she was even born. After all, her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is a country sensation, well-known for his 1992 hit “My Achy Breaky Heart.” Her mother, Tish Cyrus, pushed Miley’s career by producing some of her movies, making Miley documentaries and starring in her family’s reality television show, “Billy Ray Cyrus: Home at Last.”
