These superheroes are not only #blessed with super powers, but also have been given super good looks. The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) has given us so many crime fighting superheroes who can be credited with total hotness. It doesn’t matter if you’re a man or woman, there is someone for everyone in this series of films.
It seems that they are hitting the ball out of the park with every movie, creating new fans to the franchise by the day and also exciting long-term fans of the comics. Marvel has never been more successful it seems, and things aren’t even done yet. Part of that success has to do with the stars of the movie, whether newer actors or long-term people to the acting world.
Obviously, we’re going to keep our eyes on these men and women, who couldn’t? That said, here are the Top 8 Hottest Superheroes of the MCU.
#8 Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch)
One of the most powerful sorcerers to ever live, Doctor Strange uses his magical powers to overcome his handicap. His extremely strong-willed nature enables him to fight that much harder. Strange is known for his ability to basically go through dimensions. That isn’t all, as he is also able to bend the very law of physics in half. Once unable to do anything due to his hands, he is able to move past it. He only needed to become what he was meant to be to truly opening his mind and letting the magic take over.
Played by Benedict Cumberbatch, Strange is a certainly not bad to look at either.
#7 Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.)
An intelligent, and massively successful Tony Stark reinvents himself in the face of his enemies by becoming the Iron Man. His top of the line weapons and armor allow him to fend off villains and make the world a better place. At one point, he had to make a makeshift suit to stay alive as men forced this one proud weapons maker to make a bomb.
Tony left and then devoted his life to helping others, thus the Iron Man was born. The franchise helped to put Robert Downey, Jr. right back on the track he was on before turning to a dark world. Downey has since become the very reason there is an MCU today.
#6 Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner)
Hawkeye’s incredible reflexes and hand-eye coordination make him a world class archer. Many people assume he’s just good with a bow, when in fact Hawkeye got his name simply because of his ability to always be on target. He can do that with anything, including other weapons. He is known for his various bows with multitudes of different forms, as well as his partnership with The Shield and Black Widow.
However, Jeremy Renner has helped to bring this character to life far more than people thought it could be. Thus, the character is now seeing as a favorite among fans of the MCU.
#5 Jane Foster (Natalie Portman)
Beautiful Jane Foster, an average human being with no power, falls in love with Thor. Eventually gaining the power that Thor holds, Foster becomes incredibly powerful and selfless in her attempt to better the world, despite what it will do to her own weakened body. Many people think this addition to the list is a bit off, simply because she is not the superhero she will eventually be yet.
However, she was not in the comics until after Natalie Portman began to play her in the MCU. Something tells us that Marvel have plans for Portman. She may only be an intelligent scientist for now, but she’ll be much more one day.
#4 Star Lord (Chris Pratt)
Peter Quill (aka Star Lord) forms the group Guardians of the Galaxy to protect the Earth from invasions of outer space. Orphaned at a young age, Quill finds himself learning about his heritage while on his quest for peace between humans and extraterrestrial life. Chris Pratt had to get jacked to play this role. While he had already started to lose weight to be in another film, Pratt then had to find a way to get hired as Star Lord.
Once he got the role, he worked his butt off to get into superhero shape for the MCU. No one knew how successful this movie would be. However, it turned out to be so big that another film is rolling out.
#3 Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson)
Once a super-villain, Black Widow turned into an ally and became a crucial member to the Avengers. Her cool-girl-vibe can be seen throughout the franchise regardless of her affiliation with being good or bad. Black Widow truly represents her name. She is hard to trust and that plays against her a lot. Whether she is playing the role to keep up appearances or truly means to do what she is doing, she will always make you wonder.
Her one weakness (other than other human weaknesses) is her love for Hawkeye. Known as her partner and best friend, no one messes with him and lives to tell about it. Unless it’s Widow of course.
#2 Thor (Chris Hemsworth)
A total babe from out of this world, the Mighty Thor was not always the hero he would come to be. His impressive strength and other super powers are enough to knock you off your feet and into outer space. However, he once took this for granted. Thus the power of Thor was taken from him by his father, and he was sent to Earth to earn it back. Odin said that the person worthy of the power of Thor should get it, and eventually Thor would get his power back after showing heroism despite his lack of power.
Played by Chris Hemsworth, the Thor role could not be played by a better guy. Interestingly, his brother Liam also tried for the role. He turned out okay though.
#1 Captain America (Chris Evans)
Captain America represents the epitome of what it means to be a true patriot in times of distress. He vows his life to protecting and serving America in order to rid the world of evil. During World War II, Steve Rogers would join the armed forces despite not being big or strong. They would eventually realize his heart was more than enough to deserve power. Thus, they would put him into an experiment to hopefully make a hero that would help them win the war.
While it was tough for him to adjust to his new size and abilities, he would become the hero he was meant to be. Eventually, in this move he would end up flying a plane into the iced ocean and would be stuck frozen for decades until he was eventually unfrozen. Now having to readjust to this new life decades into the future, he must understand today’s life while also keeping to his old school values.
Played by Chris Evans, the role was huge for him. Funny enough, he turned down the role multiple times as he already played the Human Torch already within the Marvel Universe. He felt it wasn’t right for him. Eventually, he would take on the role after talking with Robert Downey, Jr. Things would turn out very well for Evans.
These super hot superheroes are ultimate goals. Even if you aren’t into action movies, I recommend watching them solely to have the chance to drool over the gorgeous men and women on the screen. Shout-out to the MCU for introducing us to the hottest superheroes!
