Top 5 ‘Game of Thrones’ Halloween Costumes

Game of Thrones is entering its final season after a terrific run as one of television’s most talked about shows. Remember the Red Wedding? Is Jon Snow dead? What will those wily Westeros folks be up to next? It’s become a pop culture phenomenon over the years with the characters and cast being on the tip of everyone’s lips in water cooler chatter.

With that being said, it’s obvious your favorite GOT character would make a fantastic costume for Halloween this year. With a bit of creativity and a little style, you can become whoever you want to be from the realm. Here’s our Top 5 Game of Thrones Halloween costumes this year.

5.) A Dragon

Game of Thrones is obviously a fantasy world that takes place in some dystopian future history. Make sense of that one! So what’s better than a costume that really exemplifies that far-off fantasy place? Go as a GOT dragon! You can get all kinds of creative from head to toe with a costume, or just get a dragon mask like this one from Amazon.  Pair it with a green Dragon Onesie and you’ll be ready to roar your way into any Halloween party. Fire breathing not included.

4.) Jaime Lannister

The bro who knows how to please…well we won’t talk about that here. Let’s keep it PG at Top 5. If you want to go as the sexy twin of Cersei, Rubie’s Medieval Period Dark Prince Costume is perfect to stand in for a handsome Jaime look at any party you’ll go to this year. Rippling muscles not included, but if you really want to amp up the fun, you’ll need a great pair of boots and sword to go as this famous Kingslayer.

3.) Cersei Lannister

The Queen Regent of the Seven Kingdoms is Cersei Lannister, played by the fierce Lena Headey. You definitely need a little attitude and edge to pull off this Women’s Renaissance Maiden Costume. If you want to go with long glam hair for the day you can do that, or you can rock a short wig that’s closer to Cersei’s currently cropped hair. Remember in Season 5, it was brutally cut off for that Walk of Shame? Of course you do, you’re a superfan! Wasn’t that moment just agonizing? This Blonde Short Wig will certainly do the trick to win you huge points as the Mad Queen for any Halloween bash you’ll attend this year.

2.) Daenerys Targaryen

The Mother of the Dragons is this famous character played by Emilia Clarke. Daenerys finally hooked up with Jon Snow in this latest season, which is why her costume is on fire right now for Halloween. Her bright blue turquoise getup is certainly more early GOT than right now, but people will know exactly who you are trying to be with the Women’s Mystical Goddess Costume. Of course you’ll need a long glamorous platinum blonde wig to complete the look. This one from HH Building For Cosplay is perfect for your Daenerys costume.

1.) Jon Snow

As one of the favorites on Games of Thrones, we’re glad Jon Snow didn’t perish in just about every episode, but you can channel this popular character with this Knights Watch Cape Jon Snow Faux Fur. Pair it with these Deluxe Black Vinyl Boot Tops and a sword, so you’ll be the hit of the party this year. And for you couples out there, how about pairing up as the newest GOT power couple: Dany & Jon.
